This is a different style of poetry than I normally read. Funny, approachable, and light. But still moving. Witty and clever, and sentimental.

A fast-paced collection about fatherhood, family, and home mostly set during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This would appeal to parents, midwesterners, people of suburbia, and anyone who finds themselves noticing the odd world around them.

I laughed out loud from the hilarity, nearly cried from the melancholy - this is all-around a fantastic book.  As a person who typically struggles when reading poetry, I find Danny's to be incredibly approachable and never disappointing!
