This confused me, because I didn't see any connection between each little story except that they were all set in WW2. However, it was funny, cute, and very interesting.

Listen, I wanted to like this. All my high school anime club LOVES this. I just don't. I think it's kind of boring and cracked out and I just can't get behind it. I thought maybe it was just the manga, because the manga looks like a direct copy of the anime. However, the anime just wasn't my bag either.
That being said, there is a great history/geography lesson here! If a kid can get through this and like it, I say more power to them. The 28 year old lady though is going to have to pass.

My manga choice of the year- big shout out to my friend Lynn for recommending this to me!
Basically I read a manga or two a year and just binge read them. 2014 was Attack on Titan and Deadman Wonderland, and this year is Hetalia: Axis Powers and, if it goes right, I'll finally be finishing Death Note.
If anyone has any good manga recommendations, send them my way, either on Tumblr (ifconniecanreadyoucan), or just send me the recommendation on here!
There's something intriguing about countries being in human form and being completely and utterly gay with a wonderful backdrop of World War Two. A few of my favourite moments were Japan's introduction, Finland turning up in a sleigh, and every single Italy moment.
