Interesting look at her mindset before, during and post-cancer.

I had a hard time getting into this book. I enjoy graphic novels, but this one just would not hold my attention. I do not know if it was the black and white illustrations or the way the story was told.

I picked up this book because of the title, and was pleasantly surprised by its content. Stirring work about a breast cancer survivor - but also much more than that. It's about womanhood, and love, and loss. I loved it! I don't even really read comics/graphic novels but this was great. I couldn't put it down or do anything else until I finished reading it.

Don't be scared away by the provocative title. This is a memoir about a woman who struggled with breast cancer. And many other breast-related life events. However, the vast majority of the book is just about her life, in general, and not about the event the book eventually gets to - discovering she has breast cancer. Probably a better title would have been something like My Life: Also, Quite A Bit About My Relationship With My Breasts, Which Eventually Get Cancer

I loved this graphic novel. It has stuck with me days after reading it. It was soo moving, honest and real. I don't remember the number to times I cried. If your a woman, read it. If your a son or husband read it.
