I am still hooked on this series and these wonderful characters. It was a nice change of pace to have the story occurring outside of Three Pines and Inspector Gamache being able to take some time for himself. I really enjoyed learning more about his family history! I also enjoyed learning more about Peter and his background! He still does not deserve Clara!! I really love listening to these as audio books as to me the narrator adds so much to the storyline. On to #5 :)

4.5 this may be my favorite so far in this series. The setting in the Canadian wilderness is a wonderful character in itself.

This was probably my favorite one yet...the atmosphere, character development, suspense, and humor were all engrossing and enjoyable.

Gamache #4 was the best yet. A trip to Manoir Bellechasse sounds dreamy (minus the murder).
