Lost In The Storm is a Christian historical fiction novel by author Tamera Lynn Kraft.

The setting is Tennessee during the Civil War. Lavena Falcon desperately wanted the job of the war correspondent. But, her chief editor wanted a male for the job. If she got the job she would have one month to prove her abilities or she would be fired. Can she get the job done?

I wanted to read this novel because it is book 2 in the Ladies of Oberlin series. Did the book meet my expectations? YES! I loved learning about the historical aspects of the war. Tamera Kraft is one of my go-to authors for historical fiction.

I read this novel staying up way past my bedtime, and in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend this novel to fans of historical fiction. I look forward to learning more about Jed Jackson and his orphaned brothers in ‘Forks in the Road’.
