Fucked up in a good way.

Stanislaw Lem definitely didn't have any female friends otherwise his female characters would have an actual personality. -1 for that

A stark and alien embodiment of the grief and pain of loss, a reflection on comprehending the passage of time and mortality, and a viewport into the realities of companionship with others grappling with their own demons.

Having seen the Soderbergh film several times I thought I had a feel for the story, but wow did they have to glaze over the confused mind of Kelvin as he struggled with the return of Rheya. I give this 5 stars because the ending left me with a nice cool depression. Now on to the 1972 and the 1968 versions of the film.
