It's simple, it's easy, but it's really quite lovely. This one was a beautiful cozy little romance to fall into. You easily fall in love with the characters - truly all of them, and feel like you're wrapped up in a warm, fuzzy blanket the whole time you're reading.
Light your candle, grab a blanket, and settle in with a nice cup of tea.

After Smith’s last novel, I wasn’t sure I would enjoy this. I’m usually quite the fan of her work (TSPoLaFS and TIWHLL are among my all time favourite books), but Windfall left me cold.
This, though. This is peak Jennifer E Smith. It’s sappy and it makes no sense and it should practically impossible for those two people to make it through the book, and yet it falls perfectly into place with the fluffiest romance. And I loved every second of it.

What a fun story!
I love books that involve road-trips, so I was excited to check out a cross country train trip!
The characters were lovely and believable, and overall just a lighthearted read, would recommend.
