This book confuses me. Im not sure anything much happened and yet in a weird way I was hooked throughout. The title captures it in one, each chapter is an introduction to a new character. The whole book is one massive set up that has me intrigued to see what the real story will be about.

This novella has an interesting premise, it was a pretty fast paced read that lives up to its title of mostly introducing you to characters.

5 stars

this review is extremely biased because i love all the main character sooo much like i'm obsessed with them and my whole personality is based off this series. i'm rereading for the first time in 4 years and i'm really happy that i am because i've missed them soo much crying emoji

some might say nine guys is too much, hell i think that sometimes too, but they're so cohesive??? like it's actually really surprising how different they're all from each other and it makes my heart really happy !!! it just makes so much sense ugh

like yes i am rating this 5 stars purely because of the vibes and it's my all time favourite books series ever and that will never ever change. this series is so special to me. sang will stay as my favourite white girl in the universe

I really enjoyed this book! Sangs POV was so relateable to me when I was in high school. and the boys were all so different it's gonna be interesting to see how they unwrap in the future books.

Got recommended this book as a way to test out whether our taste in men is similar (I knew there were a lot of boys... but not that many...)

Nice and short book, I did not find it as binge-worthy as everyone else. BUT, I was also half asleep when I started reading it. Annoyingly, it started to pick up in the last chapter, so I definitely see how it could be binge-worthy. The writing was not great.. a lot of cliches and repetitiveness. It's definitely a fun concept and I think that's why people keep reading it BUT COULD ALSO BE PEOPLE INTRIGUED to find out who she chooses because... effortless pick-me girl is drowning in attention from these boys.

Not sure if I'll continue with this series or not :/

It's strange. I put this book on my wishlist quite some time ago. Last week I all of a sudden had the urge to GET this book even though I had totally forgotten what this book was about. And today I all of a sudden had this urge to actually READ the book, even though I still didn't re-read the summary, so I still had no idea what this book was about. And it's quite an experience for a mood reader to just dive in blind.

In a way this book feels like a prequel to the actual story, but in a way I also appreciate getting this book first and being introduced to all the characters this way. Because, that's what the book is really doing. When it says Introductions, it actually means that the book is gonna introduce all the main characters to us, one by one, each with a chapter with their name above it. And although nothing much happens yet, I do feel like I really got to know these characters and bonded with them.

It's not that hard to bond with the heroine. Just like the guys it didn't take long before my overprotective feelings started to take over. Not simply because the heroine has a tragic life at home, with a mom who is terrified of going out herself and therefore forbids her daughter to have contact with the outside world, punishing them in the most horrible ways if they break that rule, but also because our heroine is endearing, intelligent and has a lot of will power.

In this book we don't really find out much about the guys and what they're actually doing, but the book gives a lot of hints and therefore kept me guessing. I do think I have some idea and I can't wait to dive into the next books to figure out if I'm right. However, it's not like we don't know the guys at all. Their personalities shine through and it's quite clear that they're already really devoted to our heroine, although they have to work on their communication skills.

When I first started reading this book, I thought it seemed like it was going to be a really predictable book. But, no! I need to read the rest of the series to find out what happens. She lives is such a weird world, I need to know how she deals with it and how she copes with her new friends and their new secrets.
