Content warning: panic attacks depicted on page. Wooo that was hard to read but I took breaks and made it. ... How did he not tote his camera everywhere? Where was it when he only had a rucksack? I got hung up on logistics and character development of Alex a bit but dang like all Kate Clayborn it was GOOD. Just enough smut mixed with a compelling story and complex characters.

This is my favourite book in this series. I thought I loved book 2, but this is it, hands down.

Greer and Alex are perfect for each other and we see it in the subtle ways, the little ways they consider each other. Maybe it’s one chronic illness girlie to another, but shoutout to Greer and that ladybug.

I was in a little bit of a reading slump (some good stuff, but nothing GREAT), and this was just what I needed.

The overall idea of this book is good and for the most part executed well. The main characters have interesting back stories and I genuinely enjoy when a book centers on a theme, in this instance luck. Maybe because I read this one without having read the first two in the series - I didn't know I was reading them out of order initially
