Nothing mind blowing but this was cute as hell and I didn’t want to stop reading. I mean a tattoo covered softee and a big jock hockey player who figures out he’s gay via fake dating? Let’s gooooooo!

This book was better than I expected. I’m not someone who usually is into the fake dating trope but I ended up liking it. The pacing was okay, I wish I saw more of their relationship development.

I definitely will be continuing the series and recommend this book to anyone who into sport romance and don’t like a lot of angst in books.

This was recommended to me and I dove in, even tho it's book two. This was so sweet, and while it has some of my favorite things (fake dating and a demisexual (probable) MC) it handles these different to anything I've seen before.

I liked the casual, "Hey, I just met you, but you're in a pickle so sure I'll be your fake date" It was refreshingly simple, as opposed to some books that really get into the huge backstory. And it wasn't that either of them had been pining for the other before now, so it was nice to see them get to know each other and watch that forced proximity do it's magic.

The offhand conversations that added to the characterizations were really great, too. We learned a lot about Colin from how he thinks about things, and articulates his feelings/philosophies.

Overall, this was a pleasant surprise, and I'll definitely plan to read more from this author.

I love the set up of this as well as the relationship between Collin and Nate. Its just sweet and fun and the beginning is really funny. I wish we had gotten more of the reactions from the teammates and longterm family reactions.

Fluffy low-angst gay awakening hockey story. Like cotton candy for your eyes.
