Sorry, couldn’t get through it; I got about halfway. It was heavy handed, verbose and meandering. None of those descriptors are compliments in this case.

Over the top, over-reaches a bit in the aftermath of "Adjustment Day", but definitely a unique premise.

Sorry...did not finish...or really even start it. I suppose my tastes are just way different than this author's...it was just a bit too odd for me. And I'm pretty odd.

The lead up to adjustment day was kinda dense and boring but the pay off was really evocative! I think it’s a little difficult to follow in places when the pov changes so quickly.
Graphic: Body horror, Racial slurs, Violence, and Murder
Moderate: Xenophobia, Abandonment, and War

This book is totally appropriate for the 2018 political climate. It's absurd but with deep, clear truths embedded in the insane plot of this novel. I don't want to say anything in case of giving anything away but please, approach this novel with an open mind because this one is going to take up all the space in your head while you read it!!
