Emotional rollercoaster of a book
I started out looking for something light to read last night after having a pretty terrible week, but I wasn’t feeling anything I had. So apparently I did a complete 180 and decided to start Ruckus to continue my Hotholes read. Was I trying to stomp on my own heart? Because oh my god, this book ripped me apart and almost didn’t put my pieces back together.
I loved Rosie and her spirit, and I loved how charming and at times wonderfully weird Dean was. Both were broken in their own way, and I stayed up almost all night to see Earth and Sirius get their hard-fought, duly earned, happy ending. I was very, very worried for them at one point because we were kept on the edge of our seats till the very end, but I knew I wouldn’t be disappointed. I was healed after all.

Exceptional- I loved the medical element of the story , both characters, the angst, the drama. audio perfection. More of this please. Next I am off to read the Bronze Horseman!

If you’re looking for a “he falls first” this is your one. Although Dean is a *excuse my language* shithead for most of the book. The choices he makes will have you screaming crying WTF and wanting to throw your book because sweet Rosie doesn’t deserve it what so ever. I will say that the little twist the book threw in there had me FLOOOOOORED! Jaw dropped to the ground so many times. I do feel like the ending was a little abrupt but that’s okay because you figure it out in the epilogue.

Super easy read because I already liked Dean! Seeing the love story and the history of him and Rosie was nice. Definitely surprised me with the twist to Dean’s parents. I thought for sure he was a deadbeat dad. Only to find out he was secretly adopted by his aunt and bio father. Whoa. This was a feel good with some spice. Overall good storyline and plot.

I want to strangle her parents. Rip the dad apart from limb by limb. Shove daggers into the mum's stomach slowly and painfully. LET ME AT THEM BITCH!
