There is an interesting story in here, but a solid 90% of the content is just the main character being annoyed by other people's rudeness or sexually harrassed due to her great beauty.

Have you ever read Candide? Evelina is basically Candide, but longer and more genteel. Even after the main plot concludes, you still have to endure 10 more pages of rudeness and annoying side characters.
