While each story gave a little that I enjoyed, only the middle two, Chocolate Kisses and Simple Charms, did I enjoy the most.

Saints Alive was interesting in that it is a contest between two figures of romance, but other than that it wasn't very interesting at all. The couple was supposed to be complete opposites, but I could find a lot in common between them, so it didn't really fit to me.

Chocolate Kisses made me want some chocolate and I found the dialoge intersting and the story engaging, I only thought that it all moved way too fast. They met at 8am and by midnight they were engaged.

Simple Charms was the best story in my opinion. An established attraction and a back story which made sense. It also took place over the course of several weeks giving the characters time to develop around each other and the romance to build.

Ms. Scrooge Meets Cupid was the most original idea, but it was the same problem as Kisses because the romance happened too fast and seemed too unreal. I didn't enjoy it.

Loved this book when I was younger, mostly holds up.
"Saints Alive" by Anne Stuart has the sister of a divorcee and the divorcee's husband's lawyer trapped on an island by Cupid and St. Peter who are arguing whether passionate love or romantic love is better at creating relationships.
"Chocolate Kisses" by Judith Arnold always struck me as a little absurd. A caterer almost runs down her client's brother (read here:wealthy her) and wrecks all of the food she needed for the party. He helps her get everything back together and the two fall in love along the way. Really? he proposes at the end of the night? One day together = proposal?
"Simple Charms" by Anne McAllister has a second grade teacher whose claim to fame is the charm bracelet her secret admirer has been adding to for eighteen years. Well, know she's also going to be on a news segment hosted by none other than the bad boy she helped out in her own year of second grade. And he's looking to repay her help, with a little lurv...
Claire Madison of "Ms. Scrooge meets Cupid" has never had a good Valentine's Day. Which could explain her aversion to returning home, the Valentine's capital of the free world. She's happy as an ad exec. But her grandmother has guilted her into coming home. And not even the hot new hotel manager can cheer her up.
