When Harvard linguistics professor and archaeologist, Thomas Lourds, is invited to a shoot a film about his life and scientific achievements, the project is pushed aside when satellites locate ancient rules along the Spanish coast.
All signs point to the lost city of Atlantis. The discovery is a promise of fame, fortune and power for the one that finds it.
Whoever controls the Lost Continent, controls the world.
Thomas isn’t the only one that wants to find it. A secret division of the Catholic Church is on his heels to get to the city first and they’re willing to do anything to conquer the city and its secrets first.

This was an interesting tale in the Indiana Jones vein. The main characters are intriguing, the adventure gripping. I could have done with a little less of the "totally desirable professor" stuff, but I guess I have to accept the nod to Indy and another suspense hero, James Bond!

Very entertaining mystery. This guy does Dan Brown's style better than Dan Brown could ever dream of doing.

I am a big fan of the action adventure books, to me, they're comfort reading, so I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this book. It was fun and easy to read. My only complaint is that the characters were a bit unbelievable. It would make a good movie, in the same vein as Indiana Jones, but was a bit silly at times. Maybe that was why I loved it so much!

It was pretty decent. Along the same vein as Mr James Rollins and Mr Clive Cussler.

I really tried to get through this one, but the writing (specifically the dialogue) was just so bad, I had to give up. :(

Short review: A book that tries to emulate Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown, and achieves it in glimpses here and there. A unconvincing hero that every member of the female species seem to orgasm just by looking at him. And an ending that makes you go WTF? Okay as an escape book.

Not my usual style of book but I really enjoyed it.
Slightly awkward sex scenes and a bit predictable with the two "beautiful" women fighting over the famous linguist - who oozes sex appeal but is in love with his work.
Nonetheless the theme of Atlantis and the ideas presented regarding the musical instruments were good and the action was fast paced. Overall I blasted through it and didn't want to put it down until I knew whether they really had found Atlantis.

Quick Review:
Four out of five stars - This book reminds me of Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code series. It's definitely a great spin on this genre and was very intriguing. I'm really interested in seeing how this series continues if I ever get my hands on the books!
