Copy received from the Next Step PR. Voluntarily reviewing and all opinions are objective and my own.

Murphy and Sabrina’s story was both more enjoyable and less than All In. Murphy and Sabrina’s relationship was better paced and more natural. Both had extra aspects of their character arc that proved to be a nice development. I enjoy the opposites attract thing going on, and felt the falling for each other part more natural, especially since they are opposites. On the flip side though, I felt this book went on a bit extra longer than it needed to. There was a lot of extra at the end that could have been condensed shorter, and I started to get bored in the third half. Either less was needed, or the author could have used these pages to make their slow burn relationship even slower. Still a solid read and I look forward to book three.

Overall: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️½
Couple: Murphy & Sabrina

The slow smile I’m rewarded with hits me harder than any play on the field ever has. I want to be the man who keeps that smile there. I want to be worthy of this beautiful woman who’s slowly changing my definition of winning.

Talk about being surprised, this book blew me away. I liked Murphy from the first book, but now I damn near love him! What we perceived him to be was just the surface, he was so much more, he had depth, smarts, protectiveness, and dominance. Then there was Sabrina who we just got to hardly meet but she was amazing too, has a softness to her with such hidden strength. they were opposites but in the best way possible, his ying to her yang. This book had all the feels and is shaping up to be one of the best friend groups ever. I wasn't expecting all that happened and was so happy then so sad and all the in-betweens. One of my favorite things is group texts, and this did not disappoint. On to the next.

I love Aiden Murphy! 🥰 He was such a sweet, sexy, goofball with so much heart. It took me a minute to warm up to Sabrina with her defense mechanism to lash out at him for no reason other than she was attracted to him and had to keep her heart safe. 🤨 But once they got together, they were perfect for one another.
