Got the book from the library and some of the pages were torn out. I couldn't help but wonder who did it. A parent? A librarian? A teen who wanted the art? I did get the feeling that perhaps some of the story may go into some territory parents may deem inappropriate. But in that case, the library would just store the Manga with the adults graphic novels, right? Anyway, that's a mystery I have yet to uncover.
I thought many parts of the book were cute. Like the daydreaming about flying pigtails, and the PE races. There are some cultural aspects that probably flew over my head. But over all, gotta love Sakaki and her love for cute things.

I genuinely didn't think I'd enjoy this high school yonkoma style manga as much as I did. The humour was subtle and very nostalgic. Definitely gonna check out the anime now 🥹❤️

liked it, i mean it's a 4 panel gag manga not much to say although you'd be hard pressed to find a better 4 panel.

If anybody knows how to find humor in every day life, it's Kiyohiko Azuma. Rarely a page goes by without a laugh. Azumanga Daioh follows a group of high school girls, including a 10-year old prodigy, and their shenanigans. Add many dysfunctional teachers into the mix and you have three high school years of fun and non-stop fits of giggles. I couldn't get enough.
