Damn, I’m really loving this series. I loved Néomi and Conrad’s story. I always find the premise of ghost lovers interesting because I’m wondering if and how they’re going to end up together. This was actually really sweet and I’m so happy for them. Well done!

I like how the author resolves problems in ways you don't expect. Thought she'd use that ring to go back in time...but nahhh...she found another way to give up the ghost.

I've enjoyed quite a few of Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark, especially the Vampire/Valkerie books. Murdock, Sebastian, and Nicholai provided three engaging books, although Nicholai's was almost a novella in length, and needed more depth.

With Dark Needs at Night's Edge I found two main characters, Naomi and Conrad who both bored me with their story, yet made me want to pull my hair out. These two just drove me nuts, and yet I kept reading hoping the plot would get more interesting.

This is probably the only Kresley Cole novel I'll never read again, or recommend to other readers.

I really loved this one. Both Neomi and Conrad were fantastic characters and I adored their story.

Conrad's development was so good and I really enjoyed seeing him regain his humanity/sanity. He did have his flaws but they were ones that I was able to understand given his character.
Like while I would normally be annoyed at an mmc for blowing up at the fmc the way he did when he found the ring, I got why he did so and when he was calmer, he was able to acknowledge that he was wrong for it
As for Neomi, she was just such a fun fmc. The way she was so unafraid to speak her mind and do whatever she wanted along with how she chased after Conrad unabashedly made me love her so much.

One aspect of this story I really liked was how the conflict of Neomi being a ghost was handled and how it kept them in one setting for so much of the book.

Conrad was a little one dimensional for me, I enjoys the ending though! Love when new creatures get entered into the Lore

Kresley Cole is my go-to for an easy, sexy, romantacy. I have almost all the Immortals After Dark novels and I read them over and over again. I think this one is my favorite! Very straightforward, very predictable, but so so good!!!

I think this book would have been a 5 stars if I'd read the series in order. It was a Mother's Day gift and unfortunately it was number 5 in the seres, I didn't think it would matter and so I started reading it. I've been reading it very slowly until today, when I read 230 pages in a couple of hours. The reason I was reading it slowly is because it was quiet difficult to understand. There are so many supernatural beings in it. I'm sure if I'd read the earlier books I would have a better understanding of all the different types of beings, many I've never read about before. There are witches and shape-shifters and demons and vampires and ghosts and they're just the ones I know. This book had a lot of new and different concepts, again I'm sure I'd have kept up better if I'd read the other books.

If hot paranormal romance is what you're after then read this while standing in front of a fan because otherwise it could cause spontaneous human combustion! This is a very hot steamy, sexy romance, with amazing sex scenes in it. WOW is all I can say! I really enjoyed this book and I recommend it to lovers of paranormal, just don't make the same mistake I did and read book 5 first. I am definitely going to go and read book number 1 in this series and I will look for other Kresley Cole series.
