Wow. I really enjoyed this one. It's definitely for an older YA audience with the college setting (and scattered language, some sexuality (not too graphic)).I bought it all: characters, story line, everything.

As a fangirl (though not a writer of fic...just an admirer) and someone with anxiety and mild depression, this book really spoke to me. The character of Cath felt very real to me and, hey, if she can make a go of it, then maybe so can I.

WOW.
When I bought Fangirl, I expected some laughs and some giggles. I expected a few fanfiction references and a couple nerd jokes. I did NOT expect to relate with her utter obsession, or to cry and smile and love this book so much.
Fangirl is essential for all nerds and readers. I makes you think, wow, am I really like this? And the thing is, we are.
Cath was like a looking in the mirror for me. She was how I imagine myself in a few years, writing and reading all day everyday, and generally avoiding other people. She loved fictional worlds more then her own, and wanted nothing to do with real life. Until she met Levi.
Levi is amazing. He's just.... gosh, there aren't really words that cover him, are there? Fair warning for people with a hope of getting in a relationship, Levi will raise your standards. Dramatically.
There isn't more to say without spoilers besides just read this finnickin' book.
Seriously.

4.5 stars. I loved this so much. I was so busy that this took me forever to read, but by the time I got to the end and turned the page, I was so hurt that it had ended! I loved being in Cath’s world and felt like I could be in it and read about it forever. A fun, lighthearted, and indulgent read.
