less kinky than the first story. It did include the military coming out trope that was well done. The best friend trope as well didn't feel over done.

The story was compelling enough but the narrator did a poor job. Every sentence had the same tone an rhythm, which distracted a lot. The emotional range was missing, too.

Lace and Satin
Carly Marie is a new talent who's work deserves recognition.
This is the second book in the set -- each book focuses on a specific kink this far. The books can be read standalone if you're not up for a particular theme. The first book focused on Derek and his boyfriend - now husband - Cole. Their theme was ABDL, and there is a little of that here as well.
This book is about Ty and Dec, who have had unrequited crushes on each other for almost a decade. Ty is a veterinarian and Dec is a Navy Seal. (If you're a fan of Annabeth Albert's Out of Uniform books, you'llnprobably enjoy this one.
This is their cute get together story, with more insanity from the entire Scott family. The kink here is Ty's love of lace and satin. This is pretty fluffy, well paced, and contains the same lack of family boundaries as the first book. (My family would spontaneously combust.)
I'm looking forward to installment three!

Great friends to lovers story.
Wow! I laughed, cry and awe so much it's was great.
My favourite trope is friends to lovers and I like it didn't take too long before it's started. I really love the background story and how close they all are like a big family with the other characters.
You should read it.

Wow. I knew this book would be good just from the blurb but I was blown away. I haven't read the first book in this series but have plans to change that immediately and I definitely can't wait for Jasper's book. I really liked the balance between friends and lovers and the emotions were palpable. Plus who doesn't love lace panties? Just a tiny bit angsty and super hot I highly recommend this book!

I enjoyed Ty and Declan's story. I think it was easy to tell these two would end up together if you read At Home. These two are really perfect for each other.
Ty comes from a very loving and accepting family. Declan comes from a typical religious family that condemns homosexuality. They are just awful to him. My heart broke for him. But he had Ty's family and they accepted him with open arms.
Once Ty came out as gay, he is very open about it. Declan is just recently realizing he's gay based on some things that happen. But he's all in.
There is very low angst in this book, which was nice. I love how the family all comes together to support Ty and Declan when something happens to Declan while he is out on a mission.
I can't wait to continue the series to see where Jasper fits into all of this.
