Esta historia la verdad que me ha sorprendido. Para ser una comedia latina el lenguaje con el que se escribe (por lo menos en la edición de cátedra) es bastante asequible y no le da muchas vueltas al asunto, por lo que es bastante rápida.

Es una historia entretenida sobre engaños, cambios de formas y sobre todo mucha confusión (como una buena comedia clásica debe ser).

Muy rápida de leer e incluso divertida. Si quieres empezar con algo de cultura clásica creo que podría ser buena opción.

Non riesco ad apprezzare le commedie plautine, non mi dicono più nulla. Fatte soltanto per far ridere, sono vuote di qualsiasi spessore intellettuale (a differenza di Terenzio, per esempio), non c'è il più vago barlume di uno spunto di riflessione intenzionalmente proposto da Plauto. Era solo una macchina da soldi e risate sguaiate.

First time reading Plautus and after getting used to the style I actually really liked the story! I did think the commentary was not amazingly good, so that's why I have to give this 3 stars (instead of the 4 stars I give the story/the Latin itself).
