Lucas Wellington is one of the most eligible bachelors in Denver, even with a public humilition by two ex-girlfriends at a charity function. He doesn't believe he will ever settle down and even with the events at the charity function there is no shortage of women not willing to spend the night with him.

Julianna Grimaldi works for the Denver Broncos as a sports-rehabilitation specialist and is asked to attend a Nike Party where she meets the infamous Lucas Wellington. Julianna is disgusted by the reputation of Lucas and wants nothing to do with him.

After getting drunk one night Julianna leaves with Lucas and ends up having a night of passion, yet when she wakes up he is gone, leaving her devastated with herself and with Lucas.
