This book was short and to the point. Bruce Wilkinson didn't drag on and overload you with too much information. Everything is useful and helpful and I really enjoyed it.

My favorite part of the book was the actual parable. It was done in a creative yet realistic way and I saw a lot of my own journey scattered across the pages as I read. In fact, I got so much from the parable I could have almost done without the informational part of the book, but I did understand its purpose.

I'm glad I read this and I can already see myself reading it again in the future, in my opinion, it was that good. I'd say give this a read if this is a subject area that interests you, even if you only read it for the parable, you'll get something out of it.

This is one of my favorite books to read at the start of a new year — or to conclude a year. It reminds me of my why while allowing me to see growth from one year to the next. The Dream Giver inspires me to keep God first in all that I do.

This was a timely and poignant parable, it spoke to much of what I feel stirring in my heart right now, with such clarity. I am eager to hear what William sees and has to say about it.

I enjoyed it. Simplistic and general, but encouraging nonetheless. I don't know if I buy the premise that every person will encounter the same things in the same order while reaching for their dream, but it's certainly general enough to let those issues be specific to the person.

I’ve read this book several times now, and it still remains to be my favorite book. It’s not anything earth shattering, most of the concepts aren’t even that new, but it’s such a powerful little inspirational book that speaks to the dreamer in al of us. Each time I’ve read this I was in a different phase in my life and so different things spoke to me. I recommend this book to everyone.

A great book; the first part parable, the second half discussing the importance and honor of following our dreams and doing what it is God has fashioned for our lives. Never settling for the ordinary.

Welcome to a little story about a very big idea. This compelling modern-day parable tells the story of Ordinary, who dares to leave the Land of Familiar to pursue his Big Dream.

Does your Big Dream seem hopelessly out of reach? Are you waiting for something or someone to make your dream happen? Then you’re ready for The Dream Giver.

Made me think if I am living my dream— or just living my life? A must-read book for all the dreamers in the world.
