This was the second novel I've read in the Miles Vorkosigan saga and it had all the charm of the first novel (Warrior's Apprentice) and more. Miles is a few years older now between that and the improvement of Bujold's writing over the years, I found it more tolerable to be in his head. Eta Ceta was a fun and colorful world to experience, with its rich artwork and stunning ladies in bubbles. The whole conspiracy was a little confusing but Miles and Ivan's hijinks were super entertaining with many laugh out loud moments. I can definitely see the appeal of this series and I will surely keep reading it.
