I read the bulk of it in two days. It’s been a while since I’ve devoured a book that way. I love how vulnerable and open Bryan Cranston is in this book. You learn so much not only about his own struggles and triumphs but about the perseverance of the human spirit when one is truly dedicated. Having watched Breaking Bad and Malcolm in the Middle is a bonus (I loved both of these shows) but not a prerequisite.

Very well written book with amazing story telling. Many nuggets of life lessons one can take away from the book.

There's something inherently enjoyable about Bryan Cranston-- We rooted for Walter White in spite of everything. I saw him in the The Power of Sail at the Geffen and even though he was the villain, he was sympathetic and relatable. So-- Even though this is not a perfectly written book-- I'm willing to forgive all manner of sins and say I loved it because of his charisma, honesty, and openness. I recommend the audio version so you can listen to Bryan's voice and emotion. It was so nice to have a snapshot into Bryan's life and to know a little more about how he lives.

Highly recommend the audio version of this. Great narration.
I won't lie, I mostly wanted to read this for the Breaking Bad stuff, but really enjoyed the rest of it too.

Ever since I watched Breaking Bad, I’ve loved following Bryan Cranston. Some actors write books that are just so-so. This book is not one of those books. This book was fantastically written filled with stories and insight that can only come with life experience. This book is so well done and will be enjoyable for any fans of Bryan Cranston.

Bryan Cranston definitely had a story to tell. His life contains some really entertaining anecdotes, and he tells it in such a mesmerizing way. I love hearing about the creative aspects regarding his acting ventures, especially his perspective on Breaking Bad. He talks about his acting experience, his family life, and his journey to becoming an actor. I love listening to his behind the scenes stories, and the creative liberties he took to perfect a role. His book was worth the read.

I listened to the audio book, and it was just as compelling as Breaking Bad. Can we have Cranston read *all* the memoirs out there?
