I have been away from the Stormlight world for a little bit after reading Words of Radiance and this was such a perfect way to get back into the mythos and worldbuilding.  Looking forward to Oathbringer!

Lift is a very enjoyable character to read, and Wyndle acts as a good foil. The plot is very well designed to fit within the wider sort but allow its characters agency.

As always, there’s great world building and the surges are great fun. Plus some serious tension surrounding Darkness and
the Sleepless who shows up suddenly but fits

A little sidequest for the Stormlight series. A super quick read and well worth the time. After reading Lift's interlude chapter in Words of Radiance, I'm super thrilled she got her own novella. She's an incredible character with surprising depth and an shocking amount of development within 200 pages.
