Lift is a very enjoyable character to read, and Wyndle acts as a good foil. The plot is very well designed to fit within the wider sort but allow its characters agency.

As always, there’s great world building and the surges are great fun. Plus some serious tension surrounding Darkness and
the Sleepless who shows up suddenly but fits
.

I greatly enjoy Sanderson's world building, characters, observations on life via his fantasy world. Characters like Lift are not my favorite, but I appreciated her growth in this book.
