I loveddd this book and I think everyone should read it. The title threw me for a bit but it is sooo much more than the title. Will be buying and re-reading

This book was a solid 3.75 stars to me. I am a fan of Jackie and feel like this was beautifully written. It’s a shame that people who rated this lower either didn’t read it or were too much in their feelings to appreciate what she was saying.

I think the author does a great job at continually stressing human depravity and saying that repenting of one "major" sin does not acquit one of all other sins. Also, she does a great job at expressing the idea that getting married isn't God's solution to homosexual temptations but that the ultimate goal in life is to grow closer to God and glorify him and anything that doesn't encourage that (homosexuality being one of a multitude) is the wrong direction.

Enjoyed this read! The thought that comes to mind is no sin is worse than another sin. I love how JHP came into her truth even when others judged her and may still judge her. God loves us no matter what and we all have to account for our life when judgement day comes.

A few things that standout in this book are
1. Her heart for the glory of God
2. Her skill in poetry and writing in general
3. Her care for the people of God
4. The beauty of the Gospel and how it’s applied to our lives regardless of background.
