I read this book twice and I still loved it. Can't wait for the next one.

I'm not sure if it's the comments about Kinney become what my grandmother used to term "too big for his britches" (having bodyguards at a librarian's conference?) or if it's hard to keep coming up with fresh ideas when you are nearing the half dozen mark...but be that as it may, I didn't find anything new or (as) funny in this one. Admittedly, I recognized my own oldest son in many of the thoughts and escapades. In fact, he even commented to me when he tossed the book my way after gobbling it down in less than 90 minutes that he thought Kinney had a spy cam in our home to generate his ideas. Funny? Yes. Laugh out loud funny? Not really. Am I still thankful he gets my students to read and reread? Yes.

Funny! I need to read the previous books in this series as soon as my son's friend returns them. There was a little bit of slightly naughty humor and some surprising but age appropriate (for boys maybe 8 and up) boy puberty talk. It cracked me up. A very fun, fast read.
