This was fun to read. Fairy stories help keep the world innocent.

Fabulous Fairytales

The stories were cute and all very fable formulaic. It’s getting three stars from me because she published it so young and because it was her first ever publication. I found the history behind the creation of the stories more interesting than the stories themselves.

Flower Fables is the type of book little girls' and boys' dreams are made of - adventure and travel and good and evil and fairies, lots of fairies. This collection of stories, originally told to Ellen Emerson (Ralph Waldo Emerson's daughter), transported me back to childhood and let my imagination run wild.

I listened to this to fall asleep with The Sleepy Bookshelf podcast. It did the job and was very calming.
