It should’ve stopped after the 24th lesson bc it got redundant so fast and bored me to death. Especially since the “lessons“ were Pinterest quotes that I thought were deep by the age of 14. also the way he had to take basic quotes like ,,be kind“ and say oh yeah it’s a zen rule bc I am such a zen Buddhist…
Oh and don’t forget that he is a *zen* gardener designer and is very very very wise

I just bought this book bc it looked so pretty tbh now I want my money back

I found myself wanting to underline a number of passages, and I also chuckled to myself a great deal.

More long-form than the first book, yet still profound in a small package. 🪷

Not bad. Good principles. Just not my favorite type of book to read.

I loved this enlightening and sometimes humorous daily lesson book. I checked it out from the library but the lessons are SO GOOD that I'll probably end up buying the book. I found each lesson inspiring for moments of meditation and self-reflection and to take a pause before each day. It helps give a different perspective on how to tackle life's hurdles and deal with modern-day stresses. Highly recommend it for those looking for a non-Christian daily devotional type of read.
