I'm bucking the trend on this one. I loved the Lisa Kleypas story. Thought she did an excellent job weaving the backstory into the current action.

The other two left me a litte cold.

This is a review for Kleypas's story only.

Ahhhh why isn't this a full-length novel?? I want to see more of Jake and Lydia.

It was also sooo nice to revisit Derek and Sara. I didn't even realize how much I missed them. As great as it was to read about them again, it was also really nice that our Dr. Linley got his own story. The fact that I read about him in multiple Kleypas novels before, made me really excited to read this novella. I just wish it was longer!!!! It would've been so much fun to read about the banter between Jake and Lydia in detail. Love/Hate relationships are my favourite.

Nevertheless, I'm so happy that he got his own story even if it was in the form of a novella.

This review is only for Against the Odds by Lisa Kleypas. This was good. I just want a whole series for all the Craven children (Nicholas, Ash, Harry, and Daisy).
