A delightful quick read- 3*.

Okay so I wasn't expecting anything exciting, heart breaking or thrilling. To be honest that was fine; that was the whole reason I picked up this book. I have just read three heavy reads: some of the books were awesome and some of the books were unfortunately depressing. I needed a break from murder, crime and victimisation.

So I was glad when I picked up this book and smiled throughout the pages. I laughed throughout and if you're feeling down or upset then read this because this will make you smile. You remember all the great little things that even when life is getting tough, these little things makes it bearable.

I think overall for this book- it makes you smile and that's just great!

This book (like his blog, "1000 Awesome Things") helps to remind you of all the wonderful, little things in life. An easy, uplifting read!

Works a little better in a daily blog format than it does as a book, but it's still a fun reminder to appreciate the little things in life.

the start of this book isn't bad but the more you read the book, you realise its shortcomings. I have no idea why it's over 400 pages??? it really could have been only 200 at most, this gets to another problem so parts of the book are long and windy for no real particular reason. I get that the book isn't supposed to be read as a serious novel/book, it's a book that uses humour to see the light side of things, but it's so repetitive with its format. not a bad book just that it has bad parts in it!

A fun book to read that will make you giggle, smile, and nod your head in agreement with everything the author says.

Shall I say it? Of course I will! This book was awesome!
Some of the items on the list didn't apply to me, like perfectly parallel parking (try saying that 5 times fast) but I got the gist that it was a pretty awesome little thing to happen. My personal favourites are popping bubble wrap, squeezing through a door as it's shutting without touching it, pushing those little button on the soft drink cup lid, the Five Second Rule, planning for snoozes, gym pain, getting something with actual handwriting on it in the mail, When you're watching one of your favourite movies and you realize you don't remember how it ends, picking up a Q and U at the same time in Scrabble, and that friendly nod between strangers out doing the same thing.
This really helps you appreciate those little things in life that can be the difference between a bad day and a good day.
