This mystery came in at just the right time for me! Definitely needed something with high energy that kept me guessing along the way to get me out of a little reading slump. I loved all of the death/murder suspense, drama, and the Nantucket setting. I also enjoyed how all of the characters are so intertwined (and in ways you don’t realize at first). Brice and Karen are by far the best /most kindhearted characters.

I really liked this one! It was a total page turner. It usually takes me quite a few days to get through a Hildebrand novel. This was a quick read for me. It is now my 2nd favorite EH novel. 28 Summers being my #1 favorite. I can’t wait to dive into Swan Song which is a companion novel to The Perfect Couple AND really can’t wait to watch the Netflix adaptation!! 4 stars!!

Just finished "The Perfect Couple" by Elin Hilderbrand and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised! I'm usually not one for contemporary fiction, but Hilderbrand's writing style had me hooked from the start.

The book is a real page-turner - a classic whodunit that will keep you guessing until the very end. Hilderbrand has a way of doling out little tidbits of information throughout the story that will keep you on your toes and constantly reevaluating your theories.

And let me tell you, I was wrong more times than I was right! The ending was definitely unexpected and a little sad, but it felt true to the story and left me thinking about it long after I finished the book.

Overall, I would highly recommend "The Perfect Couple" - it's a great example of a well-done mystery with plenty of twists and turns to keep you engaged.

It’s been a while since I’ve read a mystery, and this was a great way to get back into it. Extremely quick read - couldn’t put it down. Everytime i thought I had it figured out i was still a little bit off.

Personally, i wish I had a little bit more from some of the characters I really liked, such as the bride’s parents, the pregnant sister-in-law, and the groom.

The ending is satisfactory but still leaves you wanting a bit more.

Really liked the inclusion of the chief.

Difficult to track character development since it jumps around so much between characters and dates.
