I really liked this one! It was a total page turner. It usually takes me quite a few days to get through a Hildebrand novel. This was a quick read for me. It is now my 2nd favorite EH novel. 28 Summers being my #1 favorite. I can’t wait to dive into Swan Song which is a companion novel to The Perfect Couple AND really can’t wait to watch the Netflix adaptation!! 4 stars!!

I enjoyed this book!  The writing is clear and the narrative flows easily.  I appreciated the different povs and voices in each chapter.  Took me a minute to realize the timing jumps around, so I had to pay attention to the chapter dates.  This was a light, enjoyable read.  Worth reading!  4 stars

Wealth. Marriage. Fidelity. Lies. Loved! I felt having more point of views from Abby, Thomas, Benji, and Merritt would have been a bit more interesting than all of Karen’s, though her storyline was precious and heart wrenching. Beautiful book, liked the ending. Very fun for a murder mystery!

Read as part of book club. Disappointed that this was more family drama than murder mystery; especially given the anticlimactic ending.
