At the time I read this, it was one of the only books on self-harm out there. That was important. It made teens know it, find it, and ask for it by name.

Better if it was a memoir... not deep enough into the emotional psyche of a true cutter. It was still good... kept me interested. Short, quick read for in between the books that suck you in!

TW: Self harm, eating disorders
This was to short and I didn’t feel like we got to see much character development.

I struggled with this book as a whole. Seemed very bland and could have truly elaborated more on a very tough topic. The end gave a lot of hope to those who need it but just didn’t care for the book overall.
