Excellent informative book


This book has been written in such a brilliant way that any youngster will find it fun to read and investigate. A 9 year old family member and I read it together and they loved it. They then went away and carried on reading it. It is split into various sections for different areas of interest and gives lots of information which in our case provoked even more interest and further research into the area, so the book is also a gateway to further learning. There are a lot of areas covered most readers should find more than one area of interest. It is written in an easy to follow flowing way with many colourful illustrations almost like a graphic novel. This means no long pages of writing to put off less able readers, but enough information to keep more confident readers hooked. I would expect this to be aimed at 8-12 year old readers although younger readers will enjoy sharing it with an adult.
