I loved this quick read. Slate was very interesting because he had been through so much but Harleigh was a great match for him because she helped him through his issues and yet kept him on his toes.

French & English reviews

Un tome que j'avais tellement hâte de lire !

Après tout le temps passé à voir Slate en prison dans les tomes précédents, j'avais vraiment hâte de voir ce qu'allait donner son histoire ... Et j'avoue au début j'ai eu quelques doutes sur l'héroïne (mariée ?? Légèrement pénible xD ??), je me suis rapidement attachée à elle !

Mention spéciale avec tout le drama et notamment autour de Tara (L'ex de Rome que je ne pensais jamais revoir !! Et qui laisse entendre que son histoire est bien plus compliquée que prévue ...) mais aussi de l'ex fiancée morte de Slate (les révélations !!)

Bref, une romance sexy et haute en rebondissements que j'ai dévoré =D

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A book I was so looking forward to read !
After all the time spent seeing Slate in prison in the previous books, I was really looking forward to see how his story was going to be... And I must admit at first I had some doubts about the heroine (married ?? Slightly annoying xD ??), I quickly got attached to her !
Special mention with all the drama and especially around Tara (The ex from Rome that I never thought I would see again !! And what she said suggests that her story is much more complicated than expected ...) but also the dead ex-fiancée of Slate (the revelations !!)
In short, a sexy and twisted romance that I devoured =D
I received this book for free from in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.
I have been waiting for this book! Harleigh Belle was a baby the last time that we saw her and I adore her parents. While Slate has been in a few books he has always been in prison having killed the man who killed his finance. So you can see why this one would be the one to wait for!
As I said I have been waiting for this book. In fact, I got at 4 am the morning this book just so I could read it. Slate is out of prison and trying to start his life again. He was living with his sister and brother in-law but then moves back into his house. The same house which happens to be right next door to Harleigh.
This book was full of revelations. It really was and like any Lani Lynn Vale when they come you are like WHAT? and not always in a bad way. One thing that I worried about which is revealed in detail (and no I won't tell you) was how Slate would handle falling for someone after his fiancee. I mean he loved her enough to kill someone over her.
Lani Lynn Vale handled it beautifully. I love Harleigh had some issues and chose to sleep in Slate's hammock without his permission. Not only that but she wouldn't back down about it. Her backstory reminded me a little of her mother but not to the extreme as her mom. I will say that Max (her father) is always a pleasure to see in any book.
This one made me laugh more than the last couple which is always a great thing. That is one thing I love about Lani Lynn Vale, you may have a "heavy" book or two in a series but then there are always others that will lighten things up a bit. There is still plenty of action and drama but it wasn't as gut-wrenching. This review was originally posted on A Lucky Grace
Can’t get better
I always think that Lani’s books can’t get any better, but they do. This was a great ending book to a great series. At least I’m 97.345% sure this was the last book for this particular series.
These books are like candy. They are all a little crazy but I cannot stop reading them.
I must admit that I could not wait to read Slate’s story. He was in prison for a murder he did not deny but he was Also a former cop. He’s been inside for 10 years and I was curious to see if he was going to be able to handle the works again.
Harley belongs to one of the Free couples. She’s funny and fiery. I liked them both and appreciated that this one was not as bananas as some of the other books. I look forward to reading Dax’s story.
Introduction
F-Bomb was a random pickup type of read! I was so thrilled to get to this one. I know its way out of order for this series, but I will say from my impression on this one, it can easily be read as a standalone if its needed. I didn't feel lost or anything and the MC aspects weren't super heavy. I really am enjoying this author's writing style. It is doing something so much for me and I am just getting a kick out of it. I really have enjoyed this one, and it was delightful. I honestly didn't know what I expected, but it wasn't this one and I definitely enjoyed the manner in which it was written. Definitely recommend.
My Outlook
F-Bomb was such a delightful read. I took too long in writing the review so it probably won't be as detailed as I would like but I do want to convey my thoughts on this one. I absolutely enjoyed this one so much. It was such a blast to read. I also really liked the way in which it was developed. And if you like light MC romance, then you definitely need to pick this one up. I was so charmed by their relationship and all the fun bantering was so delightful. The way that these two just played around with each other was so endearing. It had this next door neighbor charm to the story that just had me wanting to keep listening to it. I was so drawn to this one. And the romance was so interesting. I really liked how despite the lighter feel of the story we also get these emotional snippets that just brought great balance to the story as a whole. And these two do a trip to Disneyland, like can you get more adorable than that?? It was so interesting seeing them work through the issues and find their common ground together.
There is some great steam to this one, that wasn't overdone but wasn't too light either. The author really implemented it just right that felt so satisfying and real.
Overall View
I found F Bomb to be a charismatic MC romance that curled my toes and had me smiling all the way through! Definitely a keeper!
