1. Need Rize’s back story for her to become a full fledged villain. She is one mysterious woman.
2. Nishiki, aw man. The true example of don’t judge until you know the whole story.
3. The scene where Kaneki asks Touka to eat him, intense.
4. I feel like the gourmet as a human being would be one of those people who buys other people’s septic waste to consume, just for the taste.
5. Juuzo is one weird investigator. He bit off that officer’s ear???!!! I really thought he was a ghoul, because the investigation department hired a ghoul previously.
6. Kotaro Amon & Renji Yomo - big zaddy energy

This book was amazing and Shu Tsukiyama is a trashbag and now he is where he belongs. I enjoyed the addition of the side story, it gave an insight into why Rize did what she did that night.

This volume contains the continuation of the Gourmet storyline, which has a suitably dramatic and exciting end.
My favorite part of this volume is the return of Nishio, and the development of his character as well as giving deeper nuanced meaning to what it means to be a ghoul. The volume at the end also begins to give greater insight into the Ghoul Investigators, their operation, and Amon.
