Mother Shipton and the Sister Witches weaves a spell of paranormal romance, time travel, and romantic suspense— with delightful results. Modern characters fight or embrace their relationships with a wily, funny 15th century born ghost ancestor, Mother Shipton (based on a real life seer of King Henry VIII’s court). Mother needs some help herself, requiring some time travel to set the ancestral line off in a good direction. Once she finds the courage to make better life choices, the romantic entanglements of sisters of flesh and heart are featured. Their men include a Texas oilman in deep trouble, a federal agent, and a rodeo cowboy. The past lives possibilities are probed in intriguing layers, the present is lavish and full of fun and the suspense is heart stopping. My advice: hang on tight and enjoy!
