I just could not understand Janiece's character, but I guess that there are several Janiece's out there in real life. She, in my opinion, was truly pathetic,and I honestly didn't want her to have a happy ending.

This book started kinda slow, but it quickly got very good!!!…The foolishness was real!!!…KP was ready to switch things up, but Janiece realized she was worth more than being the side chick to someone else husband!!!…I was so happy for her and Isiah and was excited to see what was to become of them 2!!!…
Kimberly was a sick woman out here on the loose!!!…She didn’t want KP, but she didn’t want another woman to have him, all the while she had a whole man on the side too!!!…
The fact that Kimberly decided that assaulting someone was the way to go, knowing that KP had moved on with his life, she knew where he was, but her misdirected anger has landed her behind bars!!!…

These kind of contemporary romances are really frustrating for me. The lead characters make many bad decisions that I personally find unrelatable. However, I think the author does a good job of building tension and moving between different points of view. Some of the characters are very unsympathetic, but then when you hear it from their pov and it feels more three dimensional. It unfortunately continues my streak of not really enjoying contemporary romances, BUT I'LL KEEP TRYING DAMMIT.
