I have read books by this author before, as well as the series she cowrote with Ava Manello, and I couldn't wait to get stuck into this series.

The story itself is a good one. I actually liked that the main characters didn't realise how close they were, and meet again, till late in the story. I loved the character of Finley. He is such a well written character I could feel him jumping off the page really well.

The one thing which does let the book down, unfortunately, is the poor editing. There are a lot of grammar and spelling errors, and I'm afraid that really put me off.

Warning, the book does end on a cliffhanger, which a lot of people won't appreciate. I have book 2 ready to read so wasn't overly bothered, but I know some won't like the cliffie!

I saw Rockstar Daddy on tour (I’m not sure how I miss the tours for all these books that I know I would love, cuz I don’t participate in enough tours as it is), read the description and the blogger’s review, added it to my TBR on Goodreads and entered the giveaway.

How stoked was I when K.T. emailed me and told me to pick a book from her backlist, that I had won!? Very. I knew immediately I wanted to read Rockstar Daddy.

The book starts with Kendal taking the pregnancy test and it coming up positive. She makes the decision then and there to not tell him so that he can attain his dream. She ends thing with him and they both live miserably ever after.

At least for 4 years.

Jax is back in town.

Eventually, they are bound to run into each other, right? The years (and Kendal’s not great decision) kept them apart but it didn’t kill the chemistry between Kendal and Jax.

I loved this book. The anticipation that was built throughout just about drove me crazy. I couldn’t wait for the confrontation. I wanted to know what was going to happen. Was Kendal going to be brave enough to tell Jax that Finley is his son? I can’t tell you. That would spoil it. :)

It was a fun fast (228 pages) read that kept me hanging on until the very last sentence and had me up bright and early buying the other two books in the series: Rockstar’s Girl and A Rockstar’s Valentine. That my friends, is how a giveaway should work. Introduce you to the author’s work and have you snatching up their other books as soon as you finish reading the book that you won.

I cannot wait to get into Rockstar’s Girl and see what happens next for Jax, Kendal, and Finley.

Thank you K.T.!

I skipped so many conversations among friends because I wanted to just get to the part wherein the main characters would meet again. It eventually came, but not soon enough. I wanted to see what will happen when Jax finds out about the kid, but hey, the heroine just became so stubborn and ignored everyone's advice of telling the dad right away. It's also weird that all the drama fit into maybe 2 days near the end? Exhausting really.

2.5 Secret Baby Stars

“So his dad left you? Left you single mother! Who is he? I’ll kill that motherfucker.”

I wasn’t sure about this book when I first started it. The spelling and grammatical errors throughout the book drove me crazy. However, the story caught my attention and kept me reading. Plus it’s a secret baby book - my biggest literary weakness.

A virgin meets the lead singer of an up-and-coming rock band. They fall hard for each other. On the cusp of his band becoming huge, she learns that she is pregnant and loves him enough to walk away so he can live his dream.

Five years later, he’s back in London, still in love with her, but learns that she is hiding a huge secret from him. She’s been terrified to tell him the truth, but he forces it out of her and now they both have to deal with the consequences.

I liked the story and the characters; however, the book is way too wordy. It could have been much better with a bit of judicious editing. All in all, it’s anOk Read.

I skimmed this book. Kendel was literally the worst h. She kept their baby a secret because she didn’t want him to quit his dreams of being a rockstar she also wanted him to have the full rockstar experience by sleeping with other girls

This author's writing style was different. I really liked the story this book told, but I had trouble liking the characters. Kendal is dating an up and coming rockstar Jax, when she finds out she is pregnant. Knowing that if he knew she was pregnant, he would put his dreams on hold to support her and their child, Kendal breaks up with Jax under the pretense that she can't handle his female fans and does not tell him she is pregnant.

4 years later Jax comes home. He still loves Kendal and Kendal still loves him. Kendal is afraid to tell him about his son, for fear of losing him.

I wanted this to be better than it was...but it was an okay read. 3 stars - I liked it. I plan on reading the next one in this series too...just because I want to know what happens.
