This book was like a warm hug, and was so enjoyable. Imagining a place where dreams are chosen and sleepers get to pick what they take from their dreams is so fantastical. I enjoyed this book from the very first page, and following the characters through their daily life as dream stewards.

I really enjoyed this. It's a cosy book, with a kind tone. It was whimsical. There is no real central plot or dilemma, but that was a nice change of pace to my usual reading. And I really enjoyed that. I enjoyed how it portrayed life and emotion.
the final chapter on bereavement was sweet, and tender. It really was touching, and really captured the feeling of yearning and the soul. I also particularly enjoyed the old dog Leo and his dream

Very cutesy! Lots of whimsy, magic, and world building which I loved but absolutely zero plot or character progression. It was written super simply - I would have gobbled this up in like 6th grade. Overall an okay and super quick read. I wasn’t bored but wasn’t super entertained. Average.
