Penny gets a job at the Dream Department Store - the shop you go to when you're asleep to choose your dreams. You learn about dreammakers, dreaming and various people who visit the store.
This book came highly recommended, which usually isn't a good thing. I loved a few translations of Japanese bestsellers so I was looking forward to reading a Korean bestseller.
I mainly read this at night going to bed, so some of the philosophy parts were a bit too taxing. I ended up reading it slower than I'd like until I got a chunk of time to concentrate, when I flew through it.
I loved seeing the connections between dream customers, and I'm intrigued by the vaguest hint of a romance for Penny. I hadn't realised this was the start of a series, I'll be looking out for the next one!
