It was hard to keep track of who all the characters were and therefor, also what the story actually was. But I did enjoy the book, it was an easy read.

Entertaining enough, but not something I'll buy to keep on my bookshelf.

This book is simple and the mystery is intriguing. I wouldn't say it is the most interesting or intricate mystery book by any means, but it was perfectly enjoyable.

Your typical cosy Christie crime novel, you know what you’re getting and she delivers it 😊

I swam through this like Chridtie swam through writing this. It's a bit overstuffed with detectives and while we don't mind Sir Henry so much, why are there four (retired) policemen on the case as well as Jane and Dolly?
A lot of the clues happen sort of incidentally and though all of this is not a great recommendation, I really enjoyed it. An outlier in a way.

As much as I love Agatha Christie’s books, this one was just okay for me. I’ve realized more than ever that I prefer Poirot’s novels, though Miss Marple certainly has her own charm. If you’re new to Christie’s work, I’d recommend trying both detectives to see which style you prefer—they each offer intriguing murder mysteries, just with different approaches!
My biggest issue with Miss Marple’s books is how the narrative is split between other detectives and investigators. Unlike Poirot, who takes center stage in his books, Miss Marple doesn’t always get as much time to shine. That said, this is still an enjoyable classic Christie mystery, just not my favorite.

didn’t care much for any of the characters and (i hope i don’t sound insane) didn’t care much for the crime. it’s well written and i was intrigued though
