Quick read and classic Christie.

The Body in the Library is my first Miss Marple mystery story. It was enjoyable. I liked Miss Marple’s method of observing human nature and of knowing the folks in her village while unraveling the crime. Even though Miss Marple is a spinster, this story felt more contemporary than the Poirot mysteries I’ve read. The ending wrap up to the story was okay.

tbh I was kind of hoping to see more of Miss Marple. Obviously the different perspectives were important in piecing together the mystery, but I would have preferred if Miss Marple played a more central role than kind of being in the background and only really solving the mystery right at the end. oh well. It was definitely gripping though and I read it in one sitting.

Ahh so fun!! The middle dragged a bit for me, but I think it's mostly because my schedule forced me to read it in small spurts. I will definitely be returning to more Agatha!!
