As a now 24 year old book it is outdated, poorly formatted, and only gives surface level examinations of the "themes" and more just points out similar iconography. Perfectly acceptable as an absolute beginners starting point, and I am sure it has helped a lot of people over the years, but I imagine most people today would be happier seeking out something more contemporary. Perhaps a project for an aspiring anthropologist would be to give these books an update?
