First bit of the book I actually forgot this was a Sophie Gonzales book, Maya seemed boy obsessed, even if he did her dirty, and I was starting to get a bit irritated with all the characters. Probably since it was a miscommunication and that’s my least liked story trope for a point of conflict. Butt once everything got talked over I was obsessedddd, the story picked up and of course I fell for the characters and I was starting to get just as revenge seeking as some. Like all SG books this read has amazingly written characters, and I was cheering for them all except of course Jordie. Though I did find it weird that a bunch of 18yo were on reality tv and acting so… mature at times? It felt like the characters were in their mid to late 20s and every time I heard “off to college” or “legal drinking age” it was a jumpscare.
