Dreary, hopeless atmosphere. Some compelling buildup unfortunately culminating in a lackluster ending.

This was so borderline surrealist that it felt like something I would have read in literature class. I even looked up discussion questions at the end because it felt like it warranted a little discussion and dissection. I enjoyed the hell-on-earth depiction of a corporate busywork job, it felt like it belongs in Nightvale. Esp cially since it got in Josephine's head and made her paranoid of everything. I was worried for a bit that the ending was going to be wrapped with a bow, but it took the ambiguous turn I was looking for.
