This audiobook is like a party in your ears!

When I saw that this audiobook was paranormal and apocalyptic, with a full cast narrating in duet style, I ran! Often, when I see the word "apocalyptic," my mind immediately goes to places like dark, sad, and intense. While the ending was intense (that cliffy!), this book is not sad or really dark. It was fun, and sometimes so unserious! So, if you pick this book up, go in with those expectations, and you won't be disappointed.

Sin: The Mate Games is a new series spinoff from these authors series: The Mate Games. I did not read or listen to that series prior to listening to this audiobook, and while I believe that listening to those books prior to this one would have enhanced my listening experience, it didn't stop me from enjoying this audiobook. My favorite parts were the way that the vlogs were produced—it felt like graphic audio and I thought it was incredibly clever. I also loved the concept of a succubus heroine in a reverse harem with the 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse. LIke,come on. A reverse harem with a succubus heroine is just a good idea, and I liked it.

This audiobook is fast-paced, and the narration is perfect. I loved each and every cast member.

If you're a sucker for reading order, I would suggest starting with Obsession.

Audio Review:

If I haven’t said this before then I should have, and I have then it bears repeating, but the BEST way to consume these books is the audio. This one is no exception. I mean we get a duet narration with a cast of amazing narrators.  What’s not to love?

The story itself is amazing and I’m loving getting to know these characters, especially the original Horsemen. And Merri is such a sassy and fun FMC and I can’t wait to see how her character is going to grow throughout the following books. I completely devoured this audio and I can’t wait for the next one. I just know that whatever Meg and Kim give us is going to be epic!

The narration for this is absolutely phenomenal. Stella Hunter, Shane East, Jason Clarke, JF Harding, James Joseph, Christian Fox, and Teddy Hamilton always do such amazing jobs with their narration and this audio is no different. They bring the characters and story to life in a way that makes you feel like the characters are real people and that you’re actually experiencing the story yourself instead of just listening. 

When do we get the next book? Asking for a friend. I mean me, I’m asking for me. 😂

I mean, really, this book was EXCELLENT! From the introduction to the epilogue (yes, it ends on a cliffhanger), I was glued to this book! It was so good. I have loved this world that Meg and Kim have built! Like this is a series I could listen to over and over again! I am absolutely in love with Sin, Chaos, Mal, and Grim. Merri is awesome. Each have their own unique personalities that just flow together flawlessly. Merri is going to steel the show. Her personality is fun and spunky, and she is going to grow so much in these next few books. I can't wait. Getting to know these characters is a treat. My mind is working a million miles a minute trying to figure out what is going on, who I need to be suspicious of, and what is connected. I am telling you. The number of times I have stopped what I was doing to just sit and focus on this book. (Not that it was a bad thing, oh no!) I basically did nothing while this book was playing. Lol and when it was over. I am pretty sure I yelled. NOOOO!  I wanted to immediately start book 2. HAHA. but sadly, I will have to wait.. again. I am glad to wait!  If I haven't mentioned it, add this to your TBL! It does need to be read in order. I will accept thank yous when you devour them and are left in a book hangover... I'll say it now. You're welcome.

I just know this installment of the Mate Games is gonna be epic!!! Go quick add to your TBL. You will not be disappointed.  This is a top read for me this year
